The following is a PARTIAL listing of the tombstones in the Daugherty-Griffin Cemetery in Craven County, NC.

Location Take the Dover-Ft. Barnwell Rd., heading north out of Dover. Where it splits off in a “Y,” take the left arm (1272 or Daugherty Rd.). I don’t know what the number of the next road is, or even if it has a number, but it’s literally just a long lane on the left. It’s over halfway between the “Y” split-off and the Griffin Rd. still further north. If you get to the Griffin Rd., you've gone too far. The old Ephraim Daughety "plantation" house is supposed to sit down that lane on the right. As far as I can remember, there is no sign on the main road, indicating that the cemetery is down the lane on the left.
