Cape Fear Mercury May 11, 1774
    NORTH CAROLINA
  By His Excellency, JOSIAH MARTIN, ESQ. Captain General, Governor, and 
Commander in Chief in and over the said Province,
              A PROCLAMATION
  Whereas the General Assembly of this Province is appointed to meet at 
Newbern on the 26th Day of July next, then to meet at Newbern for the Dispatch 
of Public Business.
   Given under my Hand, and the Great Seal of the said Province, at Newbern, 
the 2nd Day of May, 1774, and in the 14th day of his Majesty's Reign.
