Jones, Robert Andrew

Robert "Andy" Jones, born November 25, 19853, went to be with Jesus February 21, 2009.
Andy served his God well by ministering to his community through his position as a social
worker at Religious Community Services for over four years. He never hesitated to say "I've
been there, Jesus Christ saved my life and will do the same for you if you let Him." Andy
was a writer whose mission was to help others by sharing his experiences. The words of
his novel pour out with raw emotion, the truth about his years of addiction and God's saving
grace that led him to redemption. Temple Baptist Chruch was a warm blanket of love that
covered his every need. He served his church well through Celebrate Recovery and
counseling of every kind. Andy Jones was a Kingdom Clydesdale. The love of Jesus emanates
through his gentle disposition. He will be sorely missed, but because of the certainty of our
hope in Jesus Christ, we look forward to being eternally reunited with him on a family circle
that will never be broken again.
In lieu of lowers, the family requests that contribution be made to Religious Community
Services, 919 George St., New Bern, N.C. 28560.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, at Temple Baptist Church.
