September 17, 1922. Charlotte Observer. FLYOD M. CHADWICK SR. New Bern, Sept. 16 - Floyd M. CHADWICK Sr., died at his home Thursday night after a prolonged illness. The funeral was conducted from Centenary Methodist church, of which the deceased was an active member. Rev, W. V. McRAE, pastor of the church, will conduct the service. The deceased was 50 years of age, and a native of Marshalburg, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Jones CHADWICK; five sons, W. C., Jacob R, m Floyd M. Jr., Carl B., and Robert G., all of this city; two daughters, Mrs. W. W. GASKINS and Miss Mary Jones CHADWICK, of New Bern; two brothers, Thomas W. and Solomon N. of New Bern; and two sisters, Mrs. W. T. HALL, of Middlesex, and Mrs. J. C. NELSON, of Peoria, Ill.
