January 29, 1916. Charlotte Observer. Newbern, Jan. 28 - Failing in an attempt to end his life by severing an artery in one of his wrists a few days ago, Frank AGOSTINE, one of Newbern's aged citizens, early this morning plunged headlong from the third story of a local hotel and struck on the grunolithic sidewalk 80 feet below. He was killed instantly. Despondency over ill health and old age is believed to have caused his suicide. Please do not contact me as I do not have any information on these individuals.
