James, Juanita Roberts Juanita "Little Sis" Roberts James, 84, of 114 Larry Avenue, Pollocksville died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Craven Regional Medical Center. She was a life member of Zion Chapel M. B. Church and served as a Mother and former president of the Mother Board, member of the Senior Choir and Kitchen Committee. The funeral will be 1:00 PM Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Zion Chapel M. B. Church with the Reverend James Gray, Sr., Pastor officiating. The burial will be in the Frank Murphy, Sr. Cemetery. She is survived by her four daughters, Ella Ward and Shirley Smith of Pollocksville, Shirley Jean Smith of Newport and Carolyn Chadwick of Pollocksville; two sisters, Olethia Roberts Britt of Trenton and Lula Roberts Johnson of Pollocksville; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM Saturday at Oscar's Mortuary.
