Mattocks, Luke Leo Luke Leo Mattocks, 67, of X-196 Craven Terrace died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Craven Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Trinity AME Zion Church and was formerly employed at Branch Bank & Trust Co. and The Sudan Temple. The funeral will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Trinity AME Zion Church with the Reverend Andrew Collins, Officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Shon Moore of New Bern, one brother, Raymond Mattocks; three sisters, Shirley Griffith of Springfield Gardens, NY, Mary Mattocks and Edith Louise Scott both of New Bern;stepdaughter, Madline Gardner of Arapahoe and stepson, Dennis Gardner of Charlotte; two grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence of Jeffery and Yvette Mattocks of 203 Canterwood Drive. Viewing will be at Oscar's Mortuary Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and at the church an hour prior to the service.
