October 6, 1909. Charlotte Observer MRS. L. R. BALL OF CRAVEN Newbern, Oct. 5 - Mrs. Lydia R. Ball, wife of J. R. Ball, of Hart & Ball, cotton buyers, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at her home four miles from Newbern where the family had recently moved. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church this afternoon by Rev. J. N. H. Summerell, the pastor. She leaves a husband and eight children. Please do not contact me as I do not have any information on these individuals.
