MINNIE S. ALPHIN Dover—Minnie S. Alphin, 80 of Dover Rt. 2 died Saturday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Rev. Eldon Brock officiating. Survivors include two sons, Milton C. Alphin and Earl D. Alphin, both of Dover; a brother, Pollock Wetherington of Dover; two sisters, Sara Gilbert of Greenville and Doris Wayne of New Bern; and four grandchildren. The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Howard-Carter and Stroud Funeral Home. (Pd. Obit)
