December 12, 1901. Charlotte Observer. Morganton, Dec. 11 - Mrs. R. A. Newland, wife of Capt. B. A. Newland, of Newbern, died here at 9 o'oclock last night. Mr. W. C. Newland, of Lenoir, was here to-day and accompanied the remains to Lenoir, where the funeral services will be held tomorrow. Please do not contact me as I do not have any information on these individuals.
