December 14, 1916. Charlotte Observer. MRS. RACHEL HINES DEAD New Bern, Dec. 13 - Mrs. Rachel Pauline HINES, one of New Bern's oldest residents, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. R. BARRINGTON, No. 82 Broad street yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock following an illness extending over a period of several weeks. The deceased was the widow of the late J. M. HINES and was 66 years of age. She is survived by three daughters. Please do not contact me as I do not have any information on these individuals.
